Welcome to 5th Grade! I am so excited to be teaching Reading and Social Studies at Blossomwood Elementary School. My husband, Taylor, and I got married recently. We have a dog named Wilson. We enjoy hiking on Monte Sano Mountain and exploring all Huntsville has to offer.

Experience
I graduated from Athens State University in Elementary Education and a minor in English Language Learning. I completed my student teaching at another school in Huntsville City and immediately after I finished I was offered a 5th grade Reading position. Shortly after, I was transferred to Blossomwood Elementary to teach 6th grade Social Studies. I moved down to 5th grade in August of 2018 and began teaching Reading. I am excited to begin my fourth year teaching 5th grade Reading and Social Studies.
