I am married to my high school sweetheart, Carolyn. She works as a Manager in Banking. We have two children, Michele and Daniel. Michele is married to Israel and they have two children, Hunter and Addie. Daniel is married to Amanda. He has a Music Education degree and works for a company installing lighting and sound systems. His wife Amanda has her Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling.

I served in the US Army right after high school as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. Worked as a youth volunteer, deacon, and full-time minister at different churches in the Huntsville/Madison, AL area, and still volunteer when I can. Co-founder/owner of Terranova's Italian Restaurant. Taught at various schools in the Madison County area as a full-time teacher and substitute. Worked as a substitute bus driver in Madison County for over 8 years. Worked as a social science department chair and CP coordinator at Columbia High School. I have been an International Baccalaureate promoter and helped grow the Career-related Program from 3 students to 24 students in four years. I finished my master’s degree in education administration at Jacksonville State University in May 2016. Education Specialist Degree complete in July 2021.
