Hello, I am Ms. Joanna Farmer, the school counselor for Williams Junior High School. I began my career in education in 1986 as a Special Education Teacher, with certification in the area of Emotional Conflict. Originally from the North Alabama area, my career brought me back to this area to be closer to my family. I was hired by Huntsville City Schools as a special education teacher in 1992.
I have been married for 24 years and I have two sons. I enjoy reading, gardening and outdoor activities. I have three pets: Jake, a Great Pyrenees, Teddy, a Shih Tzu, and Tiger a cat.
