Bio
While I was raised in Dallas County, Alabama, I spent most of my adult life moving around the United States and the world as the spouse of an Air Force officer. I have traveled through most of the United States and to Mexico, Germany, the Czech Republic, China, South Korea, Okinawa, and Australia. I have worked in five states as a library media specialist. After my husband retired from the military in 2005, we chose to move back to “Sweet Home Alabama.” I have worked at Providence since its inception. I love seeing the joy of a student when they have found that “just right” book! I have two adult children, a son who lives in Germany and a daughter who lives in south Alabama. When not working, I enjoy reading, traveling, and our newest hobby, boating.
