Hello!
My name is Natalie Murks and I am an HCS Elementary Art Teacher. I have worked for HCS for 1.5 years and I am going into my 2nd full year. This year I am working at Blossomwood Elementary School and Lakewood Elementary School. My goal as an artist and a teacher is to connect art to all aspects of education. When we are making art we learn math, science, history, and English (new vocabulary). When I do my own personal art, I enjoy making 3D functional art and edible art. I love the science and math that are behind cooking and building. I have no kids, but I do have a wonderful husband, 4 dogs, and 1 cat. When I am not busy with school or making my own art, I enjoy traveling and trying new foods!
