Welcome to second grade at Chaffee Elementary School. We like to work hard and have fun. Here are some things you can expect to learn for this school year: addition and subtraction, handwriting, reading fluency, spelling patterns, and many more topics.
There will be several ways I will communicate with you: Remind ( you can join by texting to 81010 and then in the message line type @fa9ccf), Weekly Newsletter, and Communication Folder (This will be an orange folder that needs to be sent to school each day.)
I am Sara Northcutt and I am from Tennessee. I have been married to Scott Northcutt for 29 years and we have three grown children. My family moved from Tennessee to Huntsville in 2009. This is my 14th year to teach in Huntsville City Schools and 13th at Chaffee Elementary. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and going to sporting events.
