Command Sergeant Major, Nathaniel J. Bartee Sr. retired from the United States Army after 33 1/2 years of active duty service. He served in several key Enlisted positions; from Squad member to Two Star Nominative Level; Command Sergeant Major. CSM Bartee started and ended his career as a Transportation Soldier (88M).Command Sergeant Major last active duty assignment in the United States Army was as the Combined Arms Support Command/Sustainment Center of Excellence and Fort Lee, VA Command Sergeant Major.
He currently works as the 9th Grade, LET 1-JROTC Instructor at Columbia High School. CSM Bartee was selected as the 2021-2022, Columbia High School “Teacher of the Year” and recently selected to serve as the new Vice President of the JROTC Committee for the Alabama State Department of Education, Career and Technical Education for 2022-2024.
Command Sergeant Major Bartee resides in Huntsville, AL with his wife, Pamela Denise Bartee. They have two wonderful children: son, Nate Jr. and daughter, Tori.
