Greetings,
I am from Aliceville, AL, below the city of Roll Tide! I started playing basketball in 6th grade and joined the band in 9th grade. I moved to the Rocket City in 1989 to attend Alabama A&M University on a full band scholarship. I am a former member of the Marching Maroon & White Band, the best show band of the south! After graduating from AAMU, I worked at Huntsville Utilities for 3 years. While employed there, I enrolled in graduate school to pursue my Master's degree in Special Education.
I have been working for Huntsville City Schools since 2000. I worked at the Fletcher Seldon Center - Alternative School for 11 years before coming to Columbia High School in 2012. While at CHS, I have been the assistant girls basketball coach and loving it!
I enjoy teaching, playing sports, walking, volunteering, and working with others. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and traveling.
