Bio

Hello!
I was a military kid growing up with my dad in the US Air Force. I went to 13 different schools before graduating from Sparkman High here in Alabama in 2003. I went on to attend the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Shortly before graduating college, I got married to my husband in October 2008. We then moved around a few times before finally returning to Huntsville, with our 3 children. I taught 1st Grade in Tennessee for 3 years, before deciding to take a few years off to focus on growing our family. I love being married to John, and a mom to one wild boy, Jonah, and two silly girls, Karis, and Josie.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, kayaking, hiking, and camping. I love most things nature-related, and enjoy the beach just as much as the mountains. I used to teach group fitness classes at local gyms, and still quite delight in practicing yoga, and taking exercise classes. I have always enjoyed working with children and teaching in a variety of capacities. I am honored to be at Goldsmith Schiffman and excited to teach your child!
