Lauren Holladay

Bio

My name is Lauren Holladay and I am so excited to be a first grade teacher at GSES! I graduated cum laude from The University of Alabama in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a certification in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, on July 8, 2017, I married my husband, Colin. We were both born and raised in Huntsville and have been together since the eighth grade. We are so happy to be starting our life together here! I have always had an undeniable passion for teaching. I began teaching dance at sixteen and knew immediately that teaching was the career choice for me. Watching a student grow and learn over time gives my heart so much joy! I only hope I can pour into the lives of my students the way that they pour into mine. I am thankful for the opportunity to do what I love every day and I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
