Bio
I am a native of Germany and love to share my homeland's language, culture, and history with my students. I have been flying back to Germany pretty much each summer and have enjoyed bring new things back to my classroom. I am very excited to teach German 1, 2, 3, and German AP at Huntsville High and see my students progress and get excited about the new things they are learning. I have been able to take students to Germany every other year and expose them to the German culture, history, and especially food.
I have 2 grown sons and 3 grandchildren and I love to spend time with them. I also love swimming, reading, baking, and most of all traveling.

I have been teaching at the middle school and high school levels in Huntsville City Schools since 2004. Before that, I taught German 1-5 at a high school in St. Louis, MO. I have worked as a translator for the U.S. military in Germany before moving to the United States.
