Miranda McFadden

Bio

My name is Miranda McFadden and I am so honored to be a part of the Jones Valley Elementary School family! I am originally from New York, and when I graduated high school my family and I moved to Alabama where I started my college career at the University of North Alabama. Once I graduated, I taught first grade at Sonnie Hereford Elementary School for seven years. This year is my first year out of the classroom and into a new position where I am now an ARI Reading Specialist.

I am motivated and energized to support the teachers of JVE. I am here to support the teachers by providing reading resources to help the teachers provide the best instruction for their students.

My favorite things include spending quality time with my family, running with my dog, and baking in the fall.
