Bio

I have over twenty-four years of experience working with Huntsville City’s innovative school system and three years of experience teaching in the Limestone County School System. Prior to becoming a teacher, I earned a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. I also attended Indiana University, Nova Southeastern University, and received an Honorary Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Daniel Payne University in Birmingham, Al. I am a mother of 4 children with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
