Bio
My name is Aimee Scrivner and this will be my 16th year teaching! My husband and I have been married for 9 years; we have two sons (3 years old and 5 years old), and two dogs. My favorite things are learning, teaching, and enjoying live music with my family. I love AAA and have enjoyed working here for almost 10 years. I am a certified Arts Integration Specialist and a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy. I have continued my education throughout my career in order to reach students through effective and current practices. I love to get to know each student and personalize their learning experience. I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach your child at such a wonderful school.

Experience
I began my career teaching Kindergarten Literacy Intervention, then 3rd grade in the Albertville City School System. In 2010, I moved to Idaho where I earned my Idaho teaching certificate (K-8th grade) and taught 1st grade at Mt. View Elementary until 2012. My husband and I moved to Huntsville in 2012, where I taught Kindergarten at AAA for 2 years before moving to 2nd grade. Having taught K,1st, and 3rd grades, I know where our students are coming from when they enter 2nd grade, and where they need to be by the end of our year together.
