Hello, I'm Doetiletia Sims.
I have had the honor of working for Highlands Elementary as a classroom teacher since 2006. It has been the greatest honor for me teach Math (Regular/Honors) for 6th grade from 2015-2022. At the beginning of the academic year of 2022-2023, I began working as the ESOL teacher at Highlands Elementary for grades kindergarten through six grade. I enjoy working with children helping them reach for their dreams through their education, adopting a creative approach, and encouraging and motivating students to learn. My hobbies include photography, traveling, enjoying spending time at the beach, and exploring knowledge about other cultures. I look forward to teaching your brilliant child at Highlands and empowering him/her to make a positive contribution to our world. We are truly ready to SOAR to new heights.
