Lacey Guthrie

Bio

My name is Lacey Guthrie, and I am excited to be a part of the HCS Counseling Team.

I have served as a counselor at both the elementary and secondary levels in several schools in Massachusetts, Georgia, and Alabama.

Originally from Georgia, I love living in the wonderful city of Huntsville. My husband and I, along with our three daughters, live in the Blossomwood community. Besides shuttling kids around town, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and reading when I have time.

Through the Counseling Department, all students will receive classroom guidance lessons focused on academic, social/emotional, and career growth. I also counsel students individually and in small groups on a variety of topics. I love working with students as they overcome obstacles so they can thrive at school and in life!
