Bio
I was born in Arlington, TX but moved to Athens, Alabama in 2004. My husband, Jamie, is also in the education field. He is the principal of Madison Elementary. I have two amazing step-daughters, Jocelyn and Belle. We have a Chihuahua, Buffy who is constantly keeping us on our toes!
I knew I wanted to teach since I was little. I find it so exciting that I get to provide that foundation for students entering school. I want to give a great first experience so that they are excited about school. When I see those happy faces running up to me in the mornings and sad to leave in the afternoon I feel the most rewarded.
