Bio
HHS Panther Community,

I am excited to say that this is my first year as the Assistant Principal at Huntsville High School. This year I will serve as the Freshman Academy Assistant Principal and cannot wait to see what the future holds. For the last 7 years I have had the privilege of serving as a mathematics teacher at Huntsville Junior High School and I could not be more excited to continue my career as a Panther. It’s an exciting opportunity to continue to give back to the Huntsville community that gives so much to me.

In my spare time when I am not cheering on the Panthers, I enjoy traveling with my family, going to Nashville to see my sister and hanging with friends. I am excited about the possibilities that this school year will bring and am proud to be part of the HHS family.

Experience
After growing up in Madison Alabama, I went on to receive my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Alabama. Then after a short time teaching at Brookwood High School in Tuscaloosa, I found myself ready to move closer to home and went on to teach at Huntsville Junior High School for the next seven years. While teaching at HJHS, I was able to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham to complete my masters in Educational Leadership in 2017, then started my Educational Specialist degree in August 2019 and am expecting to complete the program in December 2020.
