Columbia High School was proud to participate in Apply to College Week! During the week of October 17th- 21st, many colleges across the state waived their application fees and students across the district used this to their advantage.
Students learned how to use SCOIR, worked on the FAFSA, and applied to colleges all week long. Application fees for colleges range anywhere from $25-$100. By waiving these fees, students have the opportunity to apply to places that might have otherwise placed a hardship on them.
Applying to college is a big juncture in life because it involves a student's entire high school career and our students had the opportunity to show off all of their hard work on an application!
