JROTC Donates 1,029 Canned Goods to Rescue Mission

The Eagle Battalion collected 1,029 canned food items to donate to the Downtown Rescue Mission. Their mission is to: offer Help and Hope — Help to overcome hunger, homelessness, addiction and abuse, and eternal Hope.
This was part of their community service during Thanksgiving week. The drive teaches the students about the importance of giving and giving back to the community.
