Principal's Message 09-26-22

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As a reminder regarding this year’s academic calendar, Friday, September 30, 2022, is an eLearning day for students and teachers. Students will not report to school campuses, but they will engage in remote learning and receive scheduled support from classroom teachers throughout the day.
Students in grades K-5 will be provided instruction and assignments for reading, math, science, and social studies. Student assignments will be located in Schoology for student retrieval and access. Once the assignments are completed, students will submit their assignments using the method requested by the classroom teacher. In addition, K-5 classroom teachers will provide three support times via zoom to assist students with instruction, assignments, and/or answer instructional questions the students may have.
Students in grade 6 will be provided with instruction and assignments for all classes following normal virtual classroom procedures. Student assignments will be located in Schoology for student retrieval and access. Once the assignments are completed, students will submit their assignments using the method requested by the classroom teacher. Classroom teachers will be available during regular school hours to communicate with students or parents online. Classroom teachers will share communication times with parents and guardians.
If you have any questions concerning the eLearning day, please contact your child’s teacher or the school administration for assistance. As always, thank you for your continued support.

Grandparents' Day 2022
What a crowd! Wow! Grandparents' Day 2022 was so much fun, and it was wonderful having so many of our grandparents on campus. Thanks to this free event by our PTA, I believe we set a new record! As you can tell by the pictures below, our students enjoyed the special family time. We would like to thank Publix, Lil' Rosie's, and Costco for providing most of the food and beverages. It is great to have supportive community partners! Once again, special thanks to our PTA for all of the time and effort in providing another great family event!
Huntsville High School Homecoming Parade
Thanks to everyone that came out for the Huntsville High School Parade! Everyone had a fantastic time sharing Blossomwood cheers and spending time with friends from other Huntsville High School feeder schools. Go Big Red and Go Panthers! Special thanks to the Lucus family for providing the truck, the Lockwood family for providing the bubble machine, and the Wilkerson family for the "70's" decorations.
