Reading Specialist, Mrs. Martin, and Reading Team Host Vocabulary Parade

Today, students along with faculty and staff, participated in a vocabulary parade. Students selected their own vocabulary word from a list and dressed up like it. Students utilized their creativity skills and dressed up as a meteorologist, a ruler, an instrument, and much more. Families came to the parade to see their children, which was a huge success. Students in grades Pre-K through 5th grade participated. In addition, because this is National Principal's Month, we ended the vocabulary parade by honoring our principal, Mrs. Askew, for her hard work and dedication. Mrs. Martin and her team put a lot of effort into making this event a success. Everyone had a lot of fun!
