Bio
My name is Avery Murphree and I am the Gifted Specialist at Blossomwood Elementary. I have been teaching in the GATE program since 2016. I’ve lived in Huntsville most of my life and I’m proud to call the Rocket City home. My wonderful husband and I have two sons who are also part of the Huntsville City Schools system. I love cooking, reading, travel, and teaching GATE. I strive to create a creative, safe, and inviting space for gifted students to explore and expand their diverse talents.
