Bio

I’m from Huntsville, Alabama. I started teaching in 1994. The last ten of those years were spent here in Huntsville City Schools at McDonnell Elementary School. I have taught first through eighth grades in Alabama and Tennessee. I have two sons Lorenzo-Rashad and Ja’Kel. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends. I'm excited to join the Highlands family. My goal for this year is to assess varied resources that will have a positive and lasting impact on teaching and learning.
