Bio
This year is my seventh year teaching and my third year teaching here at Whitesburg Elementary! I love teaching because of the relationships I get to build with so many fun, awesome kids and the chance to see their knowledge and character grow. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, photography, watching Netflix, cooking, being outside, traveling, and spending time with friends and family (especially my husband Heath and adorable dog, Ellie). I am excited to be a part of the Whitesburg Elementary team for an awesome school year!
Education
I graduated from Auburn University in 2016 with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Human Development and Family Studies.
Certifications
ALSDE Class B - Early Childhood Education, Grades P-3
Experience
I spent four years teaching in Mobile, AL, with one year in second grade and three years in first grade. I am now in my third year at Whitesburg Elementary teaching first grade (and loving it!).
