Robotics Team

Blossomwood's Robotics team participates in the First LEGO League Competition. First LEGO League teams research a real-world problem and are challenged to develop a solution. Each year there is a different challenge. We will also design, build, and program a robot using LEGO Mindstorms. We follow First LEGO League's Core Values of discovery, teamwork and good sportsmanship throughout the competition.

How to Join / Membership Requirements:

Students in 3rd-6th grade are eligible to join the robotics team. A tryout which incorporates teamwork, research, building and presentation is held each fall to determine who the team members will be. There is a $50 registration fee. Tryouts are closed for the 22-23 season. Please contact the team sponsor next year if you're interested in participating.

The Blossomwood Robotics Team is sponsored by NASA and TN Valley Robotics. Robotics club meetings will be every other week pre and post-competitive season. During the competitive season, we will meet every week. Please see the school calendar for meeting dates.
