Bio
“One hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”
The above quote is framed and sits on my office desk. I knew at an early age that I wanted to share my love for the arts through teaching and help students discover their passions along the way. A native of Louisiana, I moved to Alabama in 2007. This year marks my thirteenth-year teaching with Huntsville City Schools. I am the elementary art teacher at the Academy for Academics and Arts and also serve as an adjunct instructor at Calhoun Community Technical College where I teach Art Appreciation and Art History. I love “ALL THINGS ARTS and am looking forward to another amazing year!
