Bio
I have been an elementary school counselor with HCS since 2005. This year marks my 1st year at AAA Elementary and I am thrilled to be part of the AAA Ensemble. I am married and have two daughters. My oldest is a graduating senior at Auburn and my youngest is a junior at UAB. We have hosted 4 foreign exchange students from Denmark, Germany, Italy and Norway. My daughters and I traveled to Norway to visit our former student and experience her beautiful country. My family and I also foster puppies for a local rescue. We have been doing this for over 5 years and have helped over 150 puppies find loving homes. We foster failed on two so now we have four fur babies of our own. Our favorite family past time is watching Auburn football. We also love traveling, amusement parks and decorating for Halloween.

Prior to joining Huntsville City Schools, I worked in clinical settings as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Within HCS, I have served as an elementary school counselor at Montview, Terry Heights, University Place, Ridgecrest, Whitesburg, Chaffee, McDonnell, Jones Valley and AAA.
