National Junior Honor Society For Dance

Student induction into the NHSDA™ is awarded on the basis of points earned for meritorious work in dance and GPA. Other factors may include the following: cooperative teamwork, motivation, outreach, choreography, performance, teaching and production. Inductees receive a Certificate of Induction, added prestige in scholarship applications and future resumes, wear NHSDA honor cords and gold honor pins during graduation ceremonies and High School Juniors and Seniors are eligible to apply for the NDEO Artistic Merit, Leadership and Academic Achievement Award.

How to Join / Membership Requirements:

Cost: $15.00 induction fee
Requirements or limits: By invitation only: Students must earn 15 merit points for activities within the dance program, show high levels of character, and receive the endorsement of the sponsor.
