Welcome to the 22-23 school year!!
My name is Trakeeta Winn and I'm the school counselor here at Blossomwood! I am beginning my 8th year at Blossomwood, and my 17th year in education. I spent the first 12 years of my career as a classroom teacher before becoming a counselor.
I absolutely LOVE what I do! I wear a lot of hats at Blossomwood, but a few of those include, classroom guidance, individual and group counseling, PST coordinator, 504 coordinator, NPFH and Peer Helper sponsor, and all things Social/Emotional just to name a few.
I am also the Purple Star School liaison; a program that supports military-connected children as they relocate to new schools due to a parent’s change in duty station. If you are a military connected family, please reach out so that I can assist your family with the transition.
