Jeanne Greer

Bio

Mrs. Jeanne Greer is the current Principal of Grissom High School.  A graduate of Grissom and Auburn University, she has been involved in education for more than 30 years.  Mrs. Greer achieved a  Master's Degree from Auburn University in Montgomery and taught elementary school in Montgomery and Madison, Alabama prior to moving to Huntsville City Schools.  After obtaining her administrative credentials, she was named Assistant Principal at Challenger Middle School from 2000-2006.  Mrs. Greer served as Principal at Jones Valley Elementary from 2006 to 2012.  In 2013, she became Principal of the Academy for Science and Foreign Language and led the school to earn the prestigious 2016 National Blue Ribbon award from the United States Department of Education.  Mrs. Greer was named Principal of Grissom High School in 2018.
