Swim and Dive

Grissom High School has implemented a swimming program under the leadership of their coaches that promote the development of character, discipline, and work ethic among its players, who are given the opportunity to grow both mentally and physically, giving each the ability to find success in and out of the pool.

How to Join / Membership Requirements: 

Virgil I. Swim and Dive is an extracurricular sport. The Grissom Tiger swim and Dive program represents one of the finest swimming and diving programs in North Alabama. The team is composed of competitive swimmers and divers from grades 7-12. Swimmers participate in various clubs throughout North Alabama. Students must practice with a club team at least 3 times a week or 4th block at Virgil I. Grissom. Our teams demonstrate excellence in and out of the water. Practice is from 2:15-3:40 Monday through Friday.
