2022-2023 Golf Team Tryouts
Golf Tryouts for this school year are planned for Tuesday 8/23 and Wednesday 8/24 at 4:00 at Hampton Cove Highlands course. Rain date will be 8/25 if I think it’s necessary. We will play/walk 9 holes per day. $25 is due before play each day. This includes one range token. A physical is required for participation. These can be found at AHSAA.com. The physical must have player, parent, and doctor’s signature with date. Make sure it is filled out properly. Also you must be academically eligible. If you are a rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grader you must have passed all your core courses with a 70 average and be academically on track. Otherwise you cannot participate. Contact coach Allen Bradshaw at john.bradshaw@hsv-k12.org with any questions. I am in room 248 in the main building. Tryouts are for new prospects only. Please arrive with at least a basic knowledge of the rules of golf. Also, you must have your own clubs. We are a championship level program, so tryouts are normally very competitive. This is a varsity sport and not a recreational club. We compete on the highest level.Other Info:
For more information about the golf team or sponsor opportunities please contact either coach.
