Bio
I graduated from Athens State University with a degree in Collaborative Education. I have more than ten years of experience in working with children with a wide variety of special needs. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a Registered Behavior Technician. I like to incorporate techniques I used as an RBT in my classroom such as Applied Behavior Analysis and Discreet Trial Training.
My favorite thing about being a teacher is getting to know my students and designing individualized instruction to meet their needs and help them to become more successful in their general education classrooms. When I’m not teaching, I love to read, garden, and spend time with my family and pets.
