Bio
I grew up in the Birmingham area, and my family just moved to the Athens area. I met my husband Brandon, who is a pastor, in college at Auburn University. We have 2 daughters: Emily, a senior at Auburn, and Elena: a junior in high school. We also have a crazy dog named Charlie. In my free time, I enjoy reading and playing board games.

This is my first year as the librarian at Dawson Elementary, and I am enjoying meeting all the wonderful people here! Before Dawson, I was the Media Specialist at an elementary school in Decatur, and an English teacher in St. Clair and Jefferson Counties. I love being a librarian because I not only get to see all my kids, but I get to share my love of reading with them!
