Bio
My name is Chris Whaley. I am a Career Tech Instructor here at Jemison for Drafting, Robotics, and GreenPower. My wife, Amanda, my two youngest children and I, live in Fayetteville, Tennessee. My children, Connor, Jaxon, and Maicee, are 3, 6, and 18. My personal hobby is dirt track racing. I race Dirt Late Model race cars, at various tracks around Southern Tennessee and throughout Alabama. This hobby consumes any "free" time I can find, as the race car requires regular maintenance and repairs. I have always been entrepreneurial minded, and so the racing hobby has led me down many different roads looking for "sponsorship" or means to finance such a hobby.

The latest endeavor that has developed from my racing hobby is that I purchased a business that builds and sells specialty lighting, primarily to race car drivers. This business is in full swing and I spend many late nights packaging orders and shipping them all over the country, and even globally.

As a new teacher, I enjoy being able to pass along some of the knowledge I have acquired over the past 20 years working in industry. I look forward to working with your children and hope that I can help them to realize some of their potential and dreams!
