Bio
I came to Jones Valley Elementary from Madison County Schools. Prior to meeting to meeting my husband and settling in Huntsville, AL, I performed for professional regional theatres and worked in the technical theatre field specializing in costuming and scenic art. Before becoming a full-time educator, I maintained a private voice/musical theatre studio and worked as a Writer. I wrote along with lifelong friend, Kelley Birney (a JVE graduate), and brother-in-law, Sam J. Tumminello, the musical The Nose That Didn’t Fit which was seen in NYC in 2014 and 2015. Since joining the family business, public school education, I am thankful for this new GATE adventure and am excited to get to know a new generation of creative thinkers.
