The mission of the Student Government Association is to promote an organization of students that strive to be respectful, active, responsible learners and citizens.

How to Join / Membership Requirements: 

Students is grades 3rd-6th may fill out an application to apply for the position of an officer or classroom representative on the Student Government Association.
The students participate in a campaign with posters and speeches.
The students in grades 3rd-6th vote on the officers and classroom representatives.

Other Info: 

The Student Government Association leads visitors on their trips around the school, helps with Lakewood Elementary functions and completes service projects.
