I am new resident of Alabama. My family (wife Tina and 2 boys; Jed 8, and Luke 10) and I moved here from San Diego California in the summer of 2022. I have lived all of my life in California, and our family was ready for a change. We are very much enjoying our new Northern Alabama life and culture experience. I spent much of my early life surfing, skiing and mountaineering, and I was blessed to be able to travel to multiple places that offered those types of outdoor experiences. Family life, and age has curtailed those hobbies in the past decade, but I still enjoy the outdoors. I also have taken up furniture building/woodworking (I have a construction background), and pottery. My hope is that I will be able to bring some of my design/building experience into the classroom, and that my students will leave with practical/useful skills that they can into both their future personal and professional lives.
