About Our School
After the donation of land to Huntsville City Schools by the Williams Family to build an Elementary and Middle School, James Edward Williams Elementary School was constructed and opened in September 1990.
Williams Mission Statement
Williams School is committed to empowering students to become successful life-long learners and leaders in an ever-changing world. We will create challenging and developmentally apporpriate learning experiences that emphasize intellectual rigor and high academic standards. Personal integrity and democratic values will be fostered in our students to repare them to become responsible, globally conscious learners and citizens.
