Bio

After teaching in the classroom for 17 years, I was given the opportunity to create and teach a special STEM class with a focus on technology and computer programming. The class is called Entertainment Technology Academy. This year will be my 5th year teaching this innovative class, and it is amazing to see how far elementary students can go. We learn how to use technology safely, how to program, how to solve problems and explore ideas in a modern classroom setting that invites creativity and makes learning fun!

I am from Huntsville and attended Huntsville City Schools, graduating from Huntsville High School Class of ’92. My husband and I live in south Huntsville and have three children ages 24, 12, and 8. Our oldest daughter and her husband just had their first child, so I am also a brand-new grandparent.
