Bio
I am a native of Huntsville and graduated from Huntsville City Schools, but I have also lived in the beautiful states of Kentucky and Georgia. At an early age, my parents, neither of whom have a college degree, instilled in me the importance of education, and for that I am forever grateful. I have fond memories of my mother taking me to the library as a little girl to check out books. To this day I love reading, visiting libraries, and the smell of books. It is my hope that my lifelong love of learning will inspire my students to realize that education can take them anywhere they want to go.
I aspire to help students in their journey through middle school which can be a tumultuous and challenging time for adolescents. I believe that all students can be successful with the proper attitude, work ethic, and support systems in place. I am excited about assisting students at CMS with all three of these components so that they can reach their goals in middle school and beyond.
I look forward to meeting all of the wonderful CMS students and their families!
