Bio
I grew up in small town Alabama and attended college at the University of Alabama. I was very active in my sorority, Pi Beta Phi and was also a student assistant to advisers in the College of Arts and Sciences. It was while working as a student assistant that I discovered that I enjoyed helping people learn new things. After college, I got a job as a newspaper reporter and I also got engaged. Once I was married my husband and I moved to North Carolina where I held my first teaching position. After several moves, my family and I have found ourselves back in Alabama which we are proud to call home.
