Bio

I am very excited to be back at Monte Sano ES. It is my goal to make the library the hub of the school and to create in each student, a desire to be a lifelong reader and learner. I am a veteran of the USAF where I specialized in B-52 aircraft maintenance. My family moved to Alabama in 2008 as part of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). My husband is a 21 year veteran of the Air Force and currently works on Redstone Arsenal. I have a son who is a graduate of the University of Tampa and lives in Sarasota, FL. I also have a daughter who attends Westminster Christian Academy. My daughter rides and jumps horses competitively and many weekends we travel to Tennessee for horse shows. I am an avid hockey fan and follow the Washington Capitals. In most of my free time, you will find me with a book in my hands.
