Band
of the most visible representations of Columbia High School. The band program consists of the Marching Band, Concert Band, and various smaller ensembles. Mr. Shelman D. Miller, Band Director, brings to the band program the outstanding leadership that has characterized our directors since Columbia opened in 2005 The band program at Columbia strives to maintain a balanced program in all areas of instrumental music education, focusing on the development of individual musicians. Over the years, the Columbia Band program has produced many excellent musicians, and we look forward to establishing a continued tradition of excellence. This tradition of excellence will be the result of the hard work and dedication of all present and future band members, director, and parents.

How to Join / Membership Requirements:
In order to be a member of the Columbia High School Band Program, a student must have at least one year of active participation in a band program.
