The mission of the Student Government Association (SGA) is to develop a group of student leaders who represent the student body at ASFL. SGA will work to create an atmosphere that provides the student body with a variety of fun, positive, and inspiring activities and other learning events. SGA will always display an open-minded and caring attitude to listen and share ideas from our student body to the administration, teachers, and parents who play an active role in the success of our school.
How to Join / Membership Requirements
Obtain a nomination form from the office of Mr. Andy Blalock
Read and sign the nomination form and receive your parent's signature
Receive a signature from each of your current teachers
All grades must be a 70 or above with a GPA of 80 or better
Students must be willing to participate in school meetings during and after school hours
Students must be willing to be open-minded and caring while listening to the requests of the student body
Students have a desire to learn, lead, and inspire others
