Daniel Martin
BioMr. Martin is thrilled to join the wonderful faculty/staff at Ronald McNair Junior High School. After over a decade living in Birmingham, pursuing his undergraduate degree and working as a professional actor/director, he decided to move back home to the Tennessee Valley and begin his most exciting role yet - as a middle school English teacher! When he is not in the classroom, Mr. Martin is an avid reader (and hopes to pass that love of books to his students) and enjoys spending time with his pets. He is a huge Disney fan, and is looking forward to getting involved with theatre here in Huntsville. He hopes that students who take his class learn to appreciate the power of stories and the importance of the words we choose. But, most importantly, he hopes they leave his classroom understanding the importance of empathy and kindness towards others and themselves.EducationB.S. - Theatre (General) - University of Alabama at BirminghamAssociates - English/Theatre - Calhoun Community CollegeCertificationsCCTF - English Language Arts 6-12Grade8DepartmentsEnglishEmailContactExperienceWoodlawn High School - Birmingham, AL - Theatre teacherPhoneSchedule
